Whole Wheat Whey/buttermilk Crackers/Cookie

This is one of the healthiest and tastiest crackers that I have ever made.  I use leftover buttermilk from making butter for waffles, yeast bread, and these crackers. They are very crispy and can be had with Tea or as a snack for kids.

What you need?

Whole wheat flour - 2.5 cups
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp
Sugar - 2 Tbsp
Whey/buttermilk 1 cup
Coconut oil melted 4 Tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1 Tbsp

How to make?
  1. Preheat oven to 450F
  2. Mix  whey, melted coconut oil and sugar if using
  3. In a mixing bowl, measure flour, fennel seeds, salt, baking soda and baking powder and add the liquid little by little and knead to a dough
  4. Roll the dough on the counter top or any sheet that you might have and cut them into any size you like, you could use cookie cutters
  5. Lightly dust the cookie sheet with oil and flour and place the cookies over them gently
  6. Bake for about 10-12 mins turning the sheet in the middle to avoid the corners burn too much.
Note:

1. Use butter instead of oil if you need richer taste
2. Add 2 more Tbsp of sugar if you like more sweeter taste
