Nightshade berry(Manathakkali in Tamizh) Jelly

We had a super harvest of Nightshade Berry Plant which is super medicinal and primarily its leaves and berries are used.  Green leaves cure mouth ulcer and stomach ailments.  Nightshade berries have quite a distinctive taste and generally green berries are soaked in sour yogurt with salt for 2-3 days and then sun dried.   Some berries ripened on the plant, they taste very good but yet a small taste of pungent remains.   It was end of last summer when we had the bumper crop, all of us These berries sat down to sort the ripened berries which was a laborious task.   I kept it in a freezer for 6 months and then while cleaning I was wondering how to use them up.

We loved this jelly and definitely at par with blueberry jelly.
