How to make?
- In a large bowl mix all the ingredients except water
- Knead with warm water for 5 mins till everything comes together, adjust water by adding 1 tbsp at a time.
- Cover and let the dough rest for 10 min
- Lets prepare the sauce now
- Chop onion fine and puree tomato if you dont have the thick tomato paste
- In the cooktop, heat the pan and add 2 Tbsp of oil
- Crush the italian seasoning between your palm and then add pepper powder
- Now add the onion and salt, let it become translucent. Add pureed tomato and let it thicken, It should be in a spreading consistency, not too runny.
- Preheat oven to 450F.
- I use 12 inch pizza pan, You can use 8/9 inch cake pan or any other baking dish that you may have. Dust your pan with some flour
- Punch down the dough little bit and dust your counter top with some flour. Shape your dough in the counter according to your pan size and gently transfer it
- Spread the tomato sauce gently and add your favorite toppings (I used onion, garlic, potato, peas, olives), then cheese, and put in oven for 15-20 minutes depending upon your oven). Mine gets done in 15 mins.
