Stove Top - No bake Iron griddle Whole Grain Sesame crackers
I have been thinking to make this over the stove top for sometime just to experiment. It is easy to make it if you have a thick iron griddle.

I used spelt flour in the above recipe!
Once you have the dough ready, cut them into any shape and keep it ready
Heat your iron griddle for about 5 minus of low to medium heat with a lid on
Turn off the heat. Use a thick cloth or oven mitten to remove the lid after 5mins
Add few tbsp of water on the iron griddle. Its just to cool its top surface
Now transfer all the cut crackers one by one on the iron griddle. Turn the stove on on the lowest setting and leave it for about 2-3 mins. check if they have browned. You might have to reduce/increase the cook time depending upon your stove. Be ready to learn
Once browned, turn all the crackers to the other side and gently press with them with a clean kitchen towel or a flat spatula. stove should be on lowest flame. Check every 30 secs after 2-3 mins. It should be done within 5 mins.
Turn off the heat. Transfer to a wire rack for cooling.
You can enjoy this with your chai or with a dip.
